Song to the Three Jewels

Sing a song of Truth
- bring stars
- hold the Moon as a candle
To the grace of Love and Understanding.

Dance a dance of joy

- bring meadow flowers
- to their altar
Bouquet for Wisdom and Compassion.

Smile a smile of laughter

- joy meets pilgrim
- lightly, gently,
Clearly the Beauty Way of Life.

Your falling rain,

- Three Jewels.
- soak me in timeless Oneness
And allow Deep Understanding.

Yet, how quickly you are lost
Three Jewels,

- when my heart beats
- outside your eternal rhythm,
The shore beyond Time and Space.

Loneliness calls

- I fail to understand
- your ever presence
To guide and protect with Gentleness.

Then, in the flight of a heron

- Nature’s wonder
- I stop,
and find you.
I am Going Home

In the spoils of war and cruelty

- civilization’s benediction
- I stop, and find your compassion
- Three Jewels
Going Home

Time, Space, Other Shore

- no separation
- Life, this moment
- heart empty, Three Jewels
Home.
